Proxy Prices

Proxy pay as you go

Last checked: 2026-11-06

Only two of the providers we read show pay-as-you-go rates for these products: Bright Data at $0.60 per GB on datacenter and $8 on ISP, and Zyte per 1,000 API responses. A monthly plan usually has a lower rate, but only if you use most of it. For low or one-off use, pay as you go can cost less.

We have not tested these services. Rates below were read on 2026-11-06 in dollars.

Rates with no monthly plan

Provider and productRateTerms worth noting
Bright Data datacenter$0.60 per GB"No commitment" on the plan card. Read from a fetched page summary, so medium confidence.
Bright Data ISP$8 per GB"No commitment" on the plan card.
Bright Data Web Unlocker$1.50 per 1,000 requestsThe page says you pay only for successful requests.
Bright Data SERP API$1.50 per 1,000 requestsSearch results only.
Zyte API, HTTP$0.13 to $1.27 per 1,000 responsesSites fall into five price tiers, so one rate does not fit all sites.
Zyte API, browser rendered$1.01 to $16.08 per 1,000 responsesSites fall into five price tiers.

Oxylabs showed no pay-as-you-go rate on the pages we read, only a $5 welcome credit and a $15 Starter plan. Webshare and Decodo showed monthly plans for these products. Those three belong to one group, Source, and are not in the table. See the group note.

Short fixed periods

IPRoyal sells ISP proxies for fixed periods, from $1.80 per proxy for 24 hours and from $2.70 for 30 days. Those are starting prices, and we did not read prices by quantity. A fixed period is not per-GB pay as you go, but it can suit a one-off job.

When a monthly plan saves money

A plan beats pay as you go only once you use enough of it. Divide the plan total by the pay-as-you-go rate to find that point.

Bright Data ISP Pay/GB planPlan totalSame GB at $8Use at least this to save
71 GB$499$56862.38 GB
166 GB$999$1,328124.88 GB
399 GB$1,999$3,192249.88 GB

On datacenter, Bright Data's $499 plan with 1 TB saves against $0.60 pay as you go once you use about 832 GB, by our sum. That rate came from a fetched page summary, so treat it as medium confidence.

Test your own case in the proxy cost calculator. Enter 0 as the plan minimum for pay as you go, then enter the plan. The price database has every rate. Set Billing to "Pay as you go".

Lawful use depends on the place, the data and the site's terms. This is not legal advice. Bright Data and IPRoyal may pay us if you buy through a link in future. That does not change the sums.
