ScraperAPI pricing explained
Last checked: 2026-11-07
ScraperAPI plans ran from $49 to $1,975 a month on 2026-11-06, with 100,000 to 21,500,000 credits. That is $0.49 down to about $0.09 per 1,000 credits. We rechecked these prices on 2026-11-07 and found no change. A request with rendering uses 10 credits, so the real price per 1,000 such requests is ten times the credit price.
We have not tested ScraperAPI. Prices are in dollars as shown, with no currency code. These are regular monthly prices.

ScraperAPI says the cost depends on the domain and parameters, and that targets can change. It offers a cost lookup in its dashboard and API. Use it before you size a plan. The API returns a header with the credit cost of each request.
What happens at the limit
- Out of credits: by default, scraping pauses until credits renew. Pay as you go is listed on Scaling and above, at a rate the page does not state.
- Unused credits: the balance resets when the subscription renews.
- Failures: ScraperAPI says it charges only for 200 and 404 responses, plus requests you cancel before it has had 70 seconds.
- Free use: the page offers a 7-day trial with 5,000 credits. Its FAQ also mentions a free plan with 1,000 credits.
The page disagrees with itself on one point. Business and above show "Global" geotargeting on plan cards and "Country-level" in the comparison table.
