Oxylabs vs Bright Data pricing

Last checked: 2026-11-07

On datacenter per GB, Bright Data cost less at 10 GB ($6 vs $15) and 100 GB ($60 vs $100), and the two were $1 apart at 1 TB ($499 vs $500). Oxylabs charges the whole plan fee, so its low rate only counts if you use most of the plan.

We have not tested either service. Oxylabs shows "$". Bright Data says USD is binding. The sums below use prices read on 2026-11-06 and rechecked on 2026-11-07. Oxylabs belongs to the Source group, and Bright Data is not listed by Source. See the group note.

The Bright Data datacenter rates came from a fetched page summary, so treat them as medium confidence. On 2026-11-07 Bright Data's page again showed $0.60 per GB on pay as you go and $499 a month for 1 TB ($0.51 per GB). No price changes were found on either provider's page that day. Bright Data's first-deposit match up to $500 shows no end date.

ISP per IP

ProviderLowest volume or planHighest volume or plan
Oxylabs ISP$1.50 on Starter$1.10 on Enterprise
Bright Data shared ISP$1.80 at 10 IPs$1.30 at 1,000 IPs

Oxylabs sets the rate by plan, and Bright Data sets it by the number of IPs, so these do not line up row by row. Bright Data also sells ISP traffic at $8 per GB on pay as you go. Oxylabs did not show ISP per GB on the pages we read.

Reddit's lawsuit against Oxylabs

Reddit sued SerpApi, Oxylabs, AWMProxy and Perplexity in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on October 22, 2025. The case is 1:25-cv-8736. These are allegations, not findings. Oxylabs called the suit "unfounded" and said it will "vigorously defend" against it. It says no single company owns public data, and that it requires customers to use its services only for publicly available information.

The court's July 31, 2026 opinion decided motions by SerpApi and Perplexity, not Oxylabs. The Exhibit AI case tracker lists a separate Oxylabs motion to dismiss. One newsletter, Inner City Press, reports the judge said on October 1, 2026 that he was unlikely to grant it. We found no ruling on it as of 2026-11-06. Bright Data is not a party.

How to decide

Lawful use depends on the place, the data and the site's terms. This is not legal advice. Both providers may pay us if you buy through a link in future. That does not change these sums.
